Pastor’s Corner

Meet our pastor, the Rev. Ronald E. Pettibone or Pastor Ron as he likes to be called. Pastor Ron is a graduate of Zion Bible Institute, class of "71." Upon his graduation from Bible School he began his ministry in New Haven, Connecticut at Gospel Tabernacle. He was the Youth Pastor there and while serving the church he met and married Ambra. They were married on July 8, 1972.

Following their wedding he accepted the call to pastor West Brookfield Assembly of God in West Brookfield, Massachusetts. He served there until 1975 when he came to New Jersey to pastor Faith Assembly of God now Calvary Assembly of God in Union. In 1979 he moved again, this time to Wanaque, New Jersey where he served for the next twelve years at Midvale Gospel Assembly of God. Following his ministry in Wanaque he then accepted the senior pastor's position at Community Gospel Assembly of God in Northvale, New Jersey. He comes to us here at Lambertville Assembly after completing nearly eighteen years of leadership in Northvale.

Pastor Ron and Ambra have two sons, two daughters-in-law, and two grandsons with a third due to be born in August 2007. He has the unique hobby of collecting Pepsi memorabilia from around the world. With many friends serving as missionaries you never know where his next piece of memorabilia might come from. He also is passionate in proclaiming the "good news" of God's grace for all of mankind.
