Our History
Lambertville Assembly of God was founded on Easter Sunday 1987 with a committed core of 22 people. Pastor Craig Lauterbach along with his wife Cindy and their 3 young children, held their first church service at West Amwell Elementary School, just two miles north of Lambertville. It wasn't long until the church began to experience growth and with this growth came a need for a larger facility. Through a series of events, in 1990 the congregation was able to acquire 22 acres of land only 2.5 miles east of the city. After receiving all of the necessary approvals, construction began on their 28,000 square-foot "Family Life Center" and was completed and dedicated on Sunday, May 3, 1992. Since that time, Lambertville Assembly of God has forged ahead with a strong commitment to worship, instruction, fellowship and evangelism. With an unrelenting desire to see the Great Commission fulfilled, the many ministries of our church work together in the raising up of disciples to carry out this mandate. As God's blessing continues to prosper Lambertville Assembly of God, the multiple acreage we possess will allow for future growth and expansion. |
